Integration of Major E&M Installations in Complex Structures
(19th June 2024)
The half-day CPD course will be delivered on the web using Zoom.
E&M installations are major components for proper operation and maintenance of complex structures. In addition to the conventional provision of ventilation facilities, fire services, water supplies and electricity supply, modern E&M installations may include optical fibers, telecommunication facilities, energy conservation provisions, security monitoring, and other mechanical devices to operate sophisticated systems inside the structures. Many major E&M installations are heavy and bulky, rendering very difficult to put into place in most congested construction sites in Hong Kong.
This half-day Web-CPD course is focused on the sharing of the speaker's experience that he has gained in projects with major E&M installations the past 20 years. The speaker will illustrate the use of innovative technologies to meet the challenges of installing major E&M works with real-life projects as illustrations.
