Dissemination of experience is extremely important for the healthy development of the engineering profession. The upcoming course of the series is on "Lessons Learnt from River Revitalization Projects in Greater China".

Revitalization of the urban environment and going green are recent town planning trends worldwide. Among many different focuses, revitalization of rivers within urban environments is one of the most popular issues. The methods of revitalization, of course, depend on many factors such as the degree of urbanization, environmental standards, spatial restrictions, control of waste disposal, budget, as well as the final design including landscaping and greening provisions etc.

The speaker, Ir Raymond Wong, has studied many river revitalization projects worldwide for more than 25 years, in particular those in Greater China. In this Web-CPD, he will focus on projects in Greater China projects and share with the participants the lessons that he has learnt.
