Ir Dr. Augustus Y.F. Lee  is a consultant of RMIT of Melbourne, Australia. His MSc, MPhil and PhD were awarded by HKUST, the University of Swansea in Wales of the U.K., and RMIT of Australia, respectively. Dr. Lee has extensive experience in teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate courses for HKU, CUHK and overseas universities. He has also provided UAS and photogrammetry training for VTC since 2018. His trainees include members of the public, RPSs, RPEs and university staff.

           Dr Lee has multi-disciplinary professional qualifications ranging from Chartered Engineer, Chartered Surveyor to Certified CIC BIM Manager. He has served the Structures Expert Panel of ICE since 2016. He was a corresponding member in the BIM Panel and the Safety, Health and Wellbeing Panel of IStructE. He also was a panel judge of the Autodesk 2019 BIM Awards. Dr Lee has wide research interests including finite element analysis, modular integrated construction, retrofitting technologies, and BIM & GIS applications. He has contributed to the revision of the Structures Design Manual for Highways and Railways of the Highways Department, the BIM Handbook of IStructE, and the Intelligent Building Index Manual of the Asian Institution of Intelligent Buildings. His report on the Study of Thermographic Survey on Water Leakage of 100 Housing Flats is placed in the Kwai Ching District Board for public reference.
