Ir Dr. Augustus Y.F. Lee is a consultant of RMIT of Melbourne, Australia. He has extensive experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses for HKU, CUHK and overseas universities. His MSc, MPhil and PhD were awarded by HKUST, the University of Swansea in Wales, the U.K., and RMIT of Australia, respectively. Since his MSc study, he has published a number of papers in the area of structural retrofitting. On the popular topic of PIR, he has published several high-impact articles and conducted a webinar at HKU with more than 200 participants recently.

           Ir Dr. Lee is a multi-disciplinary professional ranging from Chartered Engineer to Chartered Surveyor and to Certified CIC BIM Manager. He has served the Structures Expert Panel of ICE since 2016. He was also a corresponding member in the BIM Panel and the Safety, Health and Wellbeing Panel of IStructE. Ir Lee has wide research interests including finite element analysis, modular integrated construction, retrofitting technology, and BIM & GIS applications. He has contributed to the revision of Structures Design Manual for Highways and Railways of the Highways Department, HKSAR Government, BIM Handbook of IStructE, and Intelligent Building Index Manual of the Asian Institution of Intelligent Buildings.
